Estro is the first restaurant of Naples-born chef Antimo Maria Merone, opened with JIA Group on the second floor of 1 Duddell Street in Central. The kitchen takes the dishes of Campania and southern Italy as its starting point and reinterprets them with modern technique, and it holds one star in the 2026 Michelin Guide Hong Kong.
Dining is by tasting menu, with a choice of six or eight courses at lunch and dinner. Dishes the Michelin inspectors single out include handmade bottoni pasta with parmesan emulsion and saffron glaze, and a red prawn panna cotta topped with caviar. A chef's table can be booked in advance, and the wine list is strong on Italian labels.
The dining room is calm and design-led, with warm terracotta walls and sculptural pieces. It suits a special-occasion lunch or dinner. Bookings open 30 days ahead and a deposit is taken; groups of five or more should contact the restaurant directly.
