Salvatore Fiata's small Soho pizzeria on Staunton Street has become the city's go-to for proper Neapolitan pizza. It placed third in the 50 Top Pizza Asia-Pacific 2026 rankings, the top Hong Kong entry for a second year running, and it holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand.
Dough is the star here: light and chewy with a soft, molten centre and well-blistered edges, topped with DOP Italian ingredients. Start with a classic margherita, try the smoky provola e pepe, and do not skip the fried pizza fritta. The salsiccia pie with onion cream, caramelised red onion and Italian sausage is a crowd favourite.
It is relaxed, buzzy and reasonably priced for Central, which makes it ideal for a casual dinner with friends or a quick lunch. Tables go fast, so book ahead or arrive early.
