Ambiente Ristorante

Ambiente is on the mezzanine floor of Aryaduta Menteng, the hotel by the Tugu Tani monument. It has served Italian food in Jakarta for years and reopened after a refurbishment in 2022. The room is rustic, with dark wood and plenty of daylight, plus an open kitchen, a bar and a private dining room with a chandelier. It hosts occasional themed set menus, such as an Italian-Argentine dinner in 2025.

The house Ambiente pizza has a black charcoal dough topped with smoked salmon, zucchini and mascarpone. The carbonara pizza comes with either pork or beef bacon. Among the pastas are homemade tortellini with oxtail ragù, lasagne alla Bolognese and linguine with lobster. For a bigger meal, share the grilled MB5 wagyu tomahawk or the bistecca alla Fiorentina, then order tiramisu.

It suits hotel guests, business lunches near Medan Merdeka and relaxed family meals. Pork is on the menu, including a pork chop and Parma ham, but beef options are offered for several dishes. Hours are 11am to 9pm daily.
