SOLA Ristorante & Bisteccheria

SOLA opened in May 2025 on Jalan Purworejo near Dukuh Atas, run by Privy Hospitality Group, the team behind Mozzeria and Kaminori. The idea is a modern Tuscan steakhouse that still feels like a family dining room, with cream walls, wood, shelves of wine and an open kitchen. It is also dog-friendly, with an area set aside for diners with pets.

The centrepiece is the bistecca alla Fiorentina, a thick T-bone or porterhouse grilled over wood and sold by weight. Before that, order the ribollita, burrata with grilled grapes, or the salumi platter. The fresh pasta list includes pici cacio e pepe, agnolotti with beef cheek and tajarin with mushroom and truffle, and the beef cheek risotto Milanese comes with roasted bone marrow. Finish with tiramisu or biscotti.

SOLA suits groups who want to share a large steak, and there is a separate weekday lunch menu. Pork appears on the menu, including guanciale and prosciutto. It is open every day, with bookings through Chope.
