Nooq is the Italian restaurant and sunset bar at Qunci Villas, a boutique resort on Mangsit Beach just north of Senggigi. The kitchen is run by a chef from Naples, and the menu sticks close to southern Italian home cooking: house-made pasta, wood-fired pizza and a short list of classic mains.
Start with arancini, frittatina or caponata with burratina, then try the rosa di genovese, a home-made pasta filled with beef and onion ragù, or the linguine ai frutti di mare. Pizzas run from a simple marinara to salsiccia e friarielli and a deep-fried pizza fritta. Prices are modest for a resort, with most pastas and pizzas around Rp 150,000–200,000.
The bar pours Negronis, Hugos and Italian wines by the glass, so arrive before dusk for an aperitivo as the sun drops behind Bali's Mount Agung. It is open to non-residents from midday to 11pm; book through the resort or by WhatsApp.
