Aposto is a neighbourhood restaurant in Taman Tun Dr Ismail run by chef-patron Chu Wei Sin, who has nearly 20 years in professional kitchens. The open kitchen is the centrepiece, and the counter seats give you a close view of the cooks at work.

The cooking is modern Italian, made with good imported produce, and the menu changes about twice a year. Pasta is made in-house. Recent dishes include duck tagliatelle braised in red wine, pumpkin agnolotti with brown butter, and saba on toasted ciabatta. The slow-braised beef short rib is a favourite. Plates are designed to share, and there is a sensible wine list with alcohol-free options too.

It suits a date night or a small group of friends who enjoy cooking that tries something new. Book ahead, and allow some time to find parking in TTDI.

Details change often. Please confirm hours and prices with the restaurant when you book.
