IL Forno takes its name from the Italian word for oven, and the custom oven built in Italy is the centre of this all-day restaurant on Level 19 of Hyatt Centric City Centre. The double-height room has a lounge, a busy bar and an alfresco terrace looking over the Golden Triangle.

The pizzas are Neapolitan. The dough rests for 36 hours, then the pizzas bake in about 90 seconds. Order a margherita to share, then a pasta such as tagliatelle alla bolognese, or the grilled octopus. If you have room, finish with the tiramisu.

It is open from breakfast to dinner and the prices are fair for a hotel, so it works for a business lunch near Jalan Sultan Ismail, a casual group dinner or drinks on the terrace.

Details change often. Please confirm hours and prices with the restaurant when you book.
