Sassorosso has been a fixture of KL's Italian dining scene for well over a decade, tucked away on Lorong Yap Kwan Seng a short walk from KLCC. It is both a restaurant and a wine retailer, so the Italian wine list is a big part of the appeal.
The menu covers the classics: antipasti, pasta and gnocchi, risotto, grilled meats and fresh seafood, plus pizzas from the wood-fired oven, with vanilla crème brûlée among the desserts. On weekdays a three-course set lunch (around RM54 before service charge and tax) is good value.
The white-tablecloth dining room suits a romantic dinner or business lunch, and the restaurant also hosts birthdays and company dinners. Book online, by phone or by WhatsApp; it stays open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
Hours and prices change, so please confirm with the restaurant before you go.
