d.o.c is a pizzeria and pasta bar in The Heart at Marina One. Its Sardinian-born pizzaiolo has more than 20 years at the oven. The dough proofs for up to 20 hours and bakes in about 90 seconds in an imported Moretti oven. Pasta is made fresh in-house from Italian flour.

Start with a margherita or marinara before trying the house specials. The bologna comes with mortadella, pistachio and gorgonzola, the leccese with burratina and rocket, and the super formaggio with five cheeses. Away from the pizzas, there is classic lasagne, squid-ink risotto with octopus, and seafood linguine. Order the tiramisu for dessert.

Office crowds from the CBD come for the weekday lunch specials and the all-day hours, which start at 8am on weekdays. Families and groups fill it in the evenings and at weekends. The last pizza order is at 10.30pm. Delivery runs through its own Oddle shop and the main apps.
