Gotti Italiano occupies a shophouse at 78 Amoy Street and splits itself into a dining room, a cocktail bar and a programme of late themed nights. The kitchen leans on southern Italian cooking, and a menu overhaul in 2026 under executive chef Alessandro Giustetti added more than 20 new dishes built around slow sauces and house-made pasta.
Start with the grilled octopus over cherry tomato coulis or the Hokkaido scallops on n'duja mash. From the pasta list, the rolled porcini lasagna and the mezze maniche with n'duja and blue swimmer crab are the ones to try. Pizzas run from a plain bufalina to a crudo e rucola with Parma ham and burrata, and the 12-hour wagyu cheek ragù on fusilli is a solid main.
It suits groups and after-work crowds more than quiet dinners, particularly on Wednesday and Friday when the bar stays open until midnight. There is a weekday set lunch, and on Saturdays and Sundays a 90-minute bottomless brunch (S$38 per adult, S$20 for children) with free-flow spritz packages. Book through SevenRooms.
