Solo Ristorante sits at 45 Amoy Street, a narrow, wood-lined room arranged around an open kitchen, with a private dining room for business meals. Chef Simone Fraternali draws on Emilia-Romagna and changes the menu with the seasons, and the restaurant is listed in the 2026 Michelin Guide Singapore.
The dish most people come back for is homemade tagliolini topped with Japanese bafun uni. Other pastas that regulars rate include spaghetti with sea urchin and crab, paccheri with slow-braised pork ragù and a straightforward rigatoni carbonara, and there is a weekly chef's surprise pasta. Finish with tiramisu or gelato.
It works well for a business lunch: the weekday set runs Monday to Friday at S$39 for three courses or S$49 for four. In the evening there is a five-course gourmet menu at S$138 per person (minimum two) and a four-course sharing menu at S$98, and on Sundays an Italian brunch with an optional free-flow add-on.
