Red Sauce

Red Sauce is the laid-back Italian bistro at Rosewood Phuket, set above the sand of Emerald Bay just south of Patong. Inside is an open kitchen; outside, an elevated terrace looks straight out to sea, so try to book a table there in good weather.

The cooking leans on house-made pasta and carefully sourced produce, with the resort working directly with local farmers and fishers. Look out for the grouper carpaccio, garganelli with tuna and lamb from the grill, plus classic Italian desserts from the pastry team.

It is a calm, unhurried spot for a long beachside lunch or a resort-casual dinner, and works well for couples and families staying in the area.
