ARTE Canggu

ARTE is a community-minded Italian spot a short walk from Pererenan beach, mixing a wood-fired pizza oven with exhibitions and workshops on the walls and in the garden. A sister branch runs in central Ubud.

The pizza list is long and named after Italian regions: try the Campania, the Sardegna or the spicy Calabria, or keep it simple with a margherita. Pasta is made in-house to Italian family recipes, and the gelato and spritzes round things off nicely.

Prices are gentle by Canggu standards and there are kids' pizzas, so it works for families, surfers after a session and anyone after a relaxed, good-value dinner.
