Ganzo is a compact, homely Italian restaurant on Jl. Siligita, a short drive from the gated Nusa Dua resort enclave. It is owned and run by Italians, with owner Roberto training the local kitchen team in home-style recipes, and everything from the pasta to the sauces and desserts is made on site.

Start with an aperitivo, then order the spaghetti alle vongole, penne arrabbiata or the light potato gnocchi. Ricotta and spinach ravioli and a slow-cooked bolognese are also popular. Pizzas are hand-stretched with thin bases, and the burrata and pesto version is a favourite. Finish with a homemade dessert and a glass of the house limoncello.

Prices are reasonable for Nusa Dua, with mains from about Rp145,000 before tax and service, so it makes a good change from resort dining. Expect a relaxed pace rather than a quick turnaround, and book ahead by WhatsApp for dinner. Open daily from 11.30am to 10pm.

Details change often. Please confirm hours and prices with the restaurant when you book.
