Bottega Italiana is the everyday sister brand of Zibiru, the long-running Seminyak Italian. All its pasta and sauces are made in Zibiru's kitchen. The Seminyak branch, 'Timo' on Jalan Petitenget, is part café and part gourmet shop: you can eat in, or take home fresh pasta, sauces and herb oils. The cooking sticks to traditional recipes and uses imported Italian ingredients.
Fresh pasta is the main reason to come. Try the marechiaro (seafood with black squid-ink spaghetti), pappardelle with a slow-cooked ragù, or tagliatelle with burrata and cherry tomatoes. The cotoletta is a reliable non-pasta choice, and the millefoglie is the dessert to save room for. Panini and burrata salads cover lighter lunches.
It suits a casual lunch or an easy weeknight dinner. Mains start at around Rp105,000, so it's one of the cheaper ways to eat proper fresh pasta in Bali. Every branch opens 11am-midnight. There are sister outlets on Jalan Pantai Berawa ('Origano') and Jalan Pantai Batu Bolong ('Rosmarina') in Canggu, and each takes bookings by WhatsApp.
