Mozzeria opened in 2019 on the ground floor of The Darmawangsa Square in Kebayoran Baru and is the flagship of the Mozzeria group, run by Privy Hospitality, which also operates the Privy steakhouse on the building's fourth floor. It is half deli, half pizzeria: a counter of breads, cheeses and cured meats at the front, and a small dining room hung with framed photographs behind. Fresh mozzarella and burrata are the house speciality, and the bacon and cold cuts come from Jon's Smokery.
Start with the stracciatella and prosciutto bruschetta or burrata with prosciutto, then share a pizza: The Patrick quattro formaggi with honey, the Don Jon or the Funghi di Bosco. Penne alla vodka, rigatoni alla gochujang, yuzu sweet corn agnolotti and fettuccine shrimp scampi lead the pastas, and Italian sandwiches such as La Mozzeria and the meatball sandwich are good at lunch. Most pizzas and pastas cost Rp100,000–190,000.
It opens at 8am every day, with breakfast served until 11.30am, and suits a casual lunch, a weekend brunch or an easy dinner. Pork is on the menu, so halal diners should try the pork-free Mozzeria Café in SCBD Park instead. Tables can be booked on Chope. Sister outlets include Mozzeria Café at SCBD Park and Taman Anda and Mozzeria Deli and Caffè at Sequis Tower.
