Patio has been on Jalan Wijaya XIII since 2014 and is now run by the Plataran group. Stone walls shut out the street noise. Inside, the house is divided into separate spaces: a garden, a glasshouse dining room with raised tables next to the pizza oven, a private room overlooking a koi pond, and a lounge with a baby grand piano and a bar. The cooking is Italian home cooking, with a shorter list of Indonesian dishes.

Begin with the air-dried beef carpaccio with shaved parmigiano. The pizza dough is made by hand, and the funghi pizza from the oven is a reliable choice. For pasta, the capelli with lobster and the seafood pasta stand out. Larger appetites can go for filetto di manzo or a bistecca alla Fiorentina to share. Panna cotta is the usual dessert.

The setting suits long lunches, family gatherings and private events, and the garden makes it feel like a house more than a restaurant. The restaurant opens at 11am daily, and the Patio Bakery opens from 7am at weekends. Book via Chope or call +62 821-1226-7787.
