Roma is UNION Group's take on the Italian osteria: a big, handsome room on the ground floor of Sequis Tower that is equally good for a quick plate of pasta or a long night with cocktails. Chef Luca Pezzera cooks regional home-style dishes, and the pizzas come from world champion pizzaiolo Pasqualino Barbasso.
Go Roman with cacio e pepe, carbonara or trippa alla romana, try the handmade gnocchetti sardi, and share a wood-fired pizza or two. The bar pours a strong line in Aperol spritz and Negroni variations.
Open until late every day, it suits after-work groups, casual dates and anyone in SCBD wanting reliable Italian comfort food. A second branch runs at Pondok Indah Mall 3.
