SolePomodoro is part of the Mangiatutto Group and has been at Quayside Isle in Sentosa Cove for over a decade, with tables looking over the yachts in the marina. Executive chef Mauro Muroni and general manager and sommelier Gerri Sottile run the place, and a wine wall holds Italian and international bottles.
The pizzas are the reason to come: the dough uses seven stone-ground flours, is cold-matured for more than 70 hours and is baked in a wood-fired oven. Try the house SolePomodoro pizza with Italian sausage and potato, the Bufala or the Capricciosa. Handmade pastas include carbonara with guanciale, spaghetti with bottarga and prawns and a weekly vegetarian ravioli, and the vitello tonnato and Sicilian arancino are good starters.
A relaxed choice for a waterfront meal on Sentosa, and there is a kids' menu. It runs all day at weekends; Sentosa Cove residents get 10% off food.
